Members of SUB30 carry a membership card for identification when coming to a SUB30 meeting. Actually, the card is for attendance and follow-up purposes, but it also gives everyone a sense of ownership. Not only do I belong to SUB30, but it belongs to me. So what does that have to do with the tag line, ‘be ready. now.'?
The SUB30 mission statement is found on the back of every membership card. Our ministry exists to reach a lost generation of teenagers and young adults for Jesus Christ and
disciple them to be prepared for what God has in store for the next generation. Now. The SUB30 staff believes in the saying, “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree” and in order to change tomorrow we must change today. I've heard about the troubles of the next generation countless times and there are multitudes of people that have little faith in what
a young person can do today.
We have a completely different view at SUB30. The future of the church lies in the hands
of today's young people. SUB30 has been called to prepare the generation that will fight
an unrestrained devil and a sophisticated anti-Christ world system that we have never before seen. It is much easier to build a young person than it is to repair an adult. We refuse to wait for a more convenient time to have what God wants for us.
You don't need a driver's license to teach a Bible study or win a soul. You don't need a college degree to have a consistent solid walk with Jesus. We want it now. The appointed time is not tomorrow or in the next generation. A core
SUB30 member is ready now ... ready for the
Lord's return, ready for the enemy's
tricks, ready for life's storms and
tests, ready to evangelize their
world, ready to serve the
community, ready to teach,
preach, pray, worship, fast,
speak, act… and they are ready
... NOW.
